Visit the “City of Angels”: discover the sumptuous Royal Palace and its Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the most venerated statue of the country. Then motorized boat ride on the river. Stop at Wat Arun, Temple of Dawn. Dinner show with traditional Thai dances. Night at the hotel.
Road to Ayuthaya. Visit the main ruins of the city which was capital of the country from the 14th century and destroyed in 1767 by the Burmese. Then you will join Lopburi, “the city of monkeys”. Lunch. Visit Prang Sam Yod, a typical example of the Khmer style to finish in Phitsanulok. Having dinner. Night at the hotel.
Visit the main temple of Phitsanulok and its golden Buddha. Then visit the ruins of the Sukhothai Historical Park, the first capital of Siam in the 13th century. Lunch. Road to Phayao Lake. Walking in a pineapple field with tasting. Arrival in Chiang Rai. Dinner. Night at the hotel.
