Road to Ayuthaya. Visit the main ruins of the city which was capital of the country from the 14th century and destroyed in 1767 by the Burmese. Then you will join Lopburi, “the city of monkeys”. Lunch. Visit Prang Sam Yod, a typical example of the Khmer style to finish in Phitsanulok. Having dinner. Night at the hotel.
Visit the main temple of Phitsanulok and its golden Buddha. Then visit the ruins of the Sukhothai Historical Park, the first capital of Siam in the 13th century. Lunch. Road to Phayao Lake. Walking in a pineapple field with tasting. Arrival in Chiang Rai. Dinner. Night at the hotel.
Road to the site of the Golden Triangle (on the border of Myanmar and Laos). Excursion by canoe on the river Kok with stop in a village of minority of the North. Lunch. Departure for Chiang Mai.
